It’s time once again for Levy Pride, with a Pride takeover of Levenshulme Night Market on the 16th August kicking off the 2019 programme.
Levenshulme Pride started in 2016. Now in its third year, it is the largest local Pride in Manchester. To celebrate, the Pride Disco Night Market is upon us once more. As well as our usual amazing streetfood from around the world, full bar and unique local traders selling bespoke wares, we also have music from super special guests Kiss Me Again, the LGBT+ DJs best known for their acclaimed residency at the Soup Kitchen. And, while they’re delighting us with their monumental collection of classic records, Levenshulme Running Club will be crossing the finish line of this year’s Rainbow Run at Levenshulme Market too – so come cheer their technicolour brilliance and then eat, drink and dance!
‘Kiss Me Again’ is perhaps the most joyous night in the city. For a resident-centred party to so regularly sell-out, you know that Kiss Me Again has earned a very special place in the heart of the city. From disco to UK bass, the music policy is just amazing dancefloor music. And the calibre of friends that they’ve brought in – from Midland, to Call Super & Ben UFO, to Homoelectric legends Kath McDermott & Philippa Jarman – it’s abundantly clear that they’ve got something wonderful. Get a taste of it from their Boiler Room set from 2018 – *”
